Awards and Recognition

• Dr. Snehasis Daschakraborty, student of the S N Bose Centre, awarded PhD in the year 2014 has joined.
• Supriyo Ghosh has got the Best Poster Award in the XXXV Meeting of Astronomical Society of India held at B. M. Birla Auditorium, Jaipur during 6 - 10 March 2017.
• Santanu Mandal became 1st in poster presentation and Chiranjit Ghosh stood 2nd in oral presentation in "International Diabetes Summit 2017" held in Pune during 10th - 12th March, 2017.

Event

3rd G N Ramachandran Memorial Lecture has been organized on 1st March, 2017 at the S N Bose Centre.

Students from different colleges participated in lectures, laboratory visits, quiz, and sky observation on National Science Day (28th February, 2017) at the Centre.

'Integrated Hostel Building and Transit Quarter Complex' has been inaugurated on 23th March, 2017 by the Dr. Srikumar Banerjee, Chairman, Governing Body of the Centre.

A Hindi workshop - "Role of Technology in Implementation of Official Language" was organized on 27/03/2017.
